Judi Joba is a life long lover of nature, animals, family and connection to others. She grew up in Michigan and received her first horse at the age of twelve. She was active in 4-H where she began to show horses in local shows eventually finishing in the Top Ten at the Arabian Nationals.
Judi went on to Michigan State University where she received a Bachelors in Animal Science and a Masters in Education. She then went on to receive her certification in Counseling. After teaching at the high school and technical school level, she formed her own business at Eagles Ride Equine Center where she taught riding lessons, boarded and trained horses.
After a traumatic divorce a friend suggested she attend an event sponsored by EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association) that changed her view of how important horses are in the healing and growth process of people. A nearly fatal car accident in 2016 triggered her present venture with Eagles Rising Horses and Humans LLC where she works with a variety of therapists and professionals in providing the experience of horses and their role in the healing process.
